State government will soon make changes in NCERT syllabus

Shimla. Now the state government is going to take a new initiative so that school children can know about the history of Himachal in the educational institutions of the state. A new curriculum is also to be implemented in schools in the new academic session. Already, on the lines of private schools, English medium is being made optional in government schools also. The government is also going to make changes in the NCERT syllabus soon.

Education Minister Rohit Thakur has said that necessary changes will also be made in the curriculum of government schools. For this, now Himachal history will be taught in the syllabus so that children can know the history of Himachal.

The syllabus of government schools is decided by NCERT only. In such a situation, the government is going to make necessary changes in this regard soon. He has said that it is very important for school children to know what kind of history Himachal has had. Today’s young generation is unaware of this.

In such a situation, to preserve the culture and tell children about it, it is important to include such things in the syllabus. In such a situation, now children will be able to know the history of Himachal in the books of government schools.
