Srinagar: Health Secretary reviews Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission programs

Srinagar: Secretary Health and Medical Education Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah reviewed the functioning of Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission (NHM) during a meeting held here today.

β€œA detailed presentation was given by Mission Director, NHM, J&K, Nazim Zai Khan, in which he gave important information and vital data regarding all the programs and schemes being implemented under the scope of the Mission in J&K. Informed. Furthermore, various achievements and milestones achieved in the delivery of health services through various interventions and innovations of NHM were highlighted,” a government statement said.

β€œThe Secretary took stock of all the major issues and directed to adopt various measures and reforms to make the implementation of the Mission more vibrant and result-oriented,” the statement said.

Dr. Abid Rasheed advised the NHM team to follow evidence-based and data-driven planning following critical data analysis and its corrective actions, targeting specific and time-bound actions, timely submission of utilization certificates and impact assessment of all Gave instructions.
