Srinagar: Health Secretary reviews Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission programs

Srinagar: Secretary Health and Medical Education Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah reviewed the functioning of Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission (NHM) during a meeting held here today.

“A detailed presentation was given by Mission Director, NHM, J&K, Nazim Zai Khan, in which he gave important information and vital data regarding all the programs and schemes being implemented under the scope of the Mission in J&K. Informed. Furthermore, various achievements and milestones achieved in the delivery of health services through various interventions and innovations of NHM were highlighted,” a government statement said.

“The Secretary took stock of all the major issues and directed to adopt various measures and reforms to make the implementation of the Mission more vibrant and result-oriented,” the statement said.

Dr. Abid Rasheed advised the NHM team to follow evidence-based and data-driven planning following critical data analysis and its corrective actions, targeting specific and time-bound actions, timely submission of utilization certificates and impact assessment of all Gave instructions.
