Sri Venkateswara Swamy Wedding Held in Khammam

The wedding ceremony of Sri Venkateswara Swamy was held in grandeur on Monday in the premises of the Santha Temple in Singareni (Karepalli) mandal center of Khammam district. This wedding ceremony, which was held in a spiritual atmosphere under the auspices of the Devadaya Dharmadaya Department, particularly impressed the devotees. Devotees had gathered in large numbers from the morning to have darshan of the Lord. Vedic scholars conducted the wedding ceremony in a scholarly manner amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras. The wedding hall was beautifully decorated with flowers and special decorations for the Lord. The wedding ceremony of the Lord continued in grandeur amidst the auspicious sounds of cymbals and drums. During the wedding ceremony, the priests explained the divine qualities and glories of the Lord. After the wedding, a food distribution program was organized in the temple premises and prasadam was distributed to the devotees.
