Sports: Team India reached Delhi airport after meeting PM Modi
Sports: The Indian team has reached Delhi from Barbados today i.e. on 4th July after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title. After landing at Delhi’s IGI Airport at 6.10 am, Team India is staying at Hotel ITC Maurya. The Indian players will rest there for some time and then all the players and support staff will meet Prime Minister PM Modi at 11 am.
Team India performed very well in the T20 World Cup 2024. In the final match, India defeated South Africa by 7 runs and won the T20 World Cup title after 17 years. After becoming the champion, the team got stuck there due to the cyclone in Barbados and then BCCI Secretary Jay Shah sent Team India to Delhi through a special charter flight. After becoming the champion, the Indian team, which reached Delhi, was welcomed with great fanfare at the airport this morning. Fans were eager to get a glimpse of Team India’s players and the trophy.
