Speeding car mows down woman in Odisha’s Berhampur, Dies

Bijipur: A woman was killed after a car ran over her at Bijipur square in Berhampur of Ganjam district today. The driver has surrendered before the Gosani Nuagaon police.

Sources revealed that the woman was mowed down by the speeding car while she was selling coconut at the road side. Following the road mishap, the lady died on the spot. The deceased woman was a resident of Randa area.

The car driver has surrendered at the Gosani Nuagaon police station following the accident.

The police is investigating the case.
