Churu : Ratangarh Executive Engineer (Project) of Public Health Engineering Department, Ramnivas said that the holders of illegal water connections on the main and distribution pipelines of Apni Yojana have been asked to completely remove the illegal water connections themselves by 28 February 2024.
He said that after February 28, 2024, if illegal water connections are found on the main and distribution pipelines, then a penalty amount of Rs 44,000 will be calculated against each illegal water connection every year and a PD will be issued against causing damage to government property. .P.P. Police action will be taken under Section 3 Sub-section 2 of the Act, 1984, the entire responsibility of which will be on the holder of the illegal water connection.
