Sonakshi shares her career experience from ‘Dabangg’ to ‘Dahad’

Sonakshi Sinha: The web series ‘Dahad’, directed by Reema Kagti, is streaming on the OTT platform Prime Video. Sonakshi Sinha starrer is giving mixed response to this series. Produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Production, ‘Dahaad’ is an eight episode crime drama. Sonakshi has made her digital debut with this series. Sonakshi has now been seen talking openly on her journey from films to series.

In the web series ‘Dahad’, apart from Sonakshi Sinha, stars like Sohum Shah, Gulshan Devaiah and Vijay Verma are in lead roles. Sonakshi made her digital debut with the character of Sub-Inspector Anjali Bhati. At the same time, in the latest interview, the actress has been seen sharing her career experience from ‘Dabangg’ to ‘Dahad’.

Sonakshi Sinha has said, ’13 years after my debut in Dabangg where I played a cop-wife, I got an opportunity to play a cop with my OTT debut ‘Dahad’. I believe I was born to play this role, and it was one of the best experiences I have had. Anjali Bhati, a character who has received so much love from the audience and fans. His commitment to his duty is unparalleled.

Talking about her character, Sonakshi further said, ‘She is like those women we meet every day, who balance home and work very well. It took me less than an hour to say yes to the script, and today I am so happy for the decision, as each character is written with such compassion and authenticity that they resonate with our audience. Time for powerful characters – strong, bold and ready for action, especially if they are women.’
