Soldier martyred after being hit by IED bomb

Bijapur. A CAF soldier has been martyred after being hit by an IED blast in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. The name of the martyred soldier is said to be Ram Ashish Yadav. The mortal remains of the martyred soldier have been brought to the district headquarters. The matter is of Mirtur police station area. Actually, road construction work is going on near Bechapal, a Naxal affected area. The soldiers had come out to protect the road construction work. Meanwhile, the soldier’s leg got hit by a pressure IED. Due to which there was a loud bang. The soldier suffered serious injuries. Died on the spot.

SP Bijapur Jitendra Yadav has confirmed the incident. Jitendra Yadav told Rishta to the public that the incident took place in Mirtoor police station area. Where the soldiers were out for area domination. Meanwhile, jawan Ram Ashish Yadav got hit by ID near Bechapal drain. According to the information, martyred soldier Ram Ashish Yadav was posted as head constable in CAF. Who died on the spot. The jawan was immediately taken to the hospital where his post-mortem was conducted after which the body of the jawan will be taken to his residence in Bhilai tomorrow. Where his last rites will be performed in the morning. After the incident, DRG personnel are continuously searching the area.
