Smriti Irani’s promise – BJP will punish the robbers of Ratna Bhandar

Balasore/Kendrapara/Paradip: Union Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani on Saturday held public meetings in Remuna (Balasore), Aul (Kendrapara) and Kujang (Paradip), urging voters to exercise their franchise in favor of the party. The last phase of voting on June 1.

Addressing a gathering at Kuruda Bazaar ground in Remuna, Irani appealed to the people to vote for the BJP and help the party form a double engine government both at the Center and the state. Making a veiled attack on BJD leader VK Pandian, the Union Minister alleged, “Orissa is not safe in the hands of BJD as the party has looted crores of rupees of government money in the name of mining, chit funds and other illegal activities.” A corrupt official.”

The BJP leader further pointed out that despite Odisha being a mineral rich state, people had to migrate out for livelihood as the BJD government here did not provide them adequate employment opportunities. The sitting MP from Amethi further promised that if BJP comes to power in Odisha it will bring many employment opportunities and utilize the natural resources of the state to improve the economic condition of the people.
BJP candidate from Remuna Gobinda Chandra Das was also present among others.

At Aul under Kendrapara parliamentary constituency, Irani promised to provide cash vouchers of Rs 50,000 to each woman under the Subhadra scheme if the BJP forms the government in the state. He attacked BJD for ignoring the long-standing demand of the people for the establishment of a medical college in Kendrapara.
Commenting on the lost keys of Shrimandir Ratna Bhandar, the BJP leader said that even Lord Jagannath is unsafe under the BJD rule. “Even after six years there is no trace of the keys to the Ratna Bhandar. BJP will find out the truth behind the lost keys after coming to power in Odisha and punish those who looted it.” Among others, BJP MP candidate from Kendrapara Baijayant Panda also spoke.

While campaigning in Kujang in Paradip, Irani accused Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik of running a ‘remote-control government’ under the influence of a Tamil Nadu official. He said that BJP had allocated crores of rupees to the state under the mineral exploration policy but BJD misused this money. Besides, BJD has looted around Rs 32,000 crore from the people through the chit fund scam,” she said.
