Skoda Kylaq gets new pricing across its range, introductory period offer ends in India

The introductory price of Skoda Kylaq has ended in India and the price of the SUV has been revised. While some variants have received a price hike, some models have received reduction in prices. Post the rejig, the Skoda Kylaq SUV costs between Rs 8.25 lakh and Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Some variants of Skoda Kylaq cost up to Rs 36,000 more as earlier. On the other hand, the company has slashed the prices up to Rs 46,000.

Skoda Kylaq was earlier launched at an introductory price that ranges between Rs 7.89 lakh and Rs 14.40 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the base Classic trim costs Rs 36,000 more than earlier. It now costs Rs 8.25 lakh for the manual gearbox. The 2nd base Signature MT and 3rd base Signature AT variants now cost Rs 26,000 and Rs 36,000 more.

Similarly, the top variants- Signature+ MT and AT variants are more affordable by Rs 15,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. The top Prestige trim is reduced by Rs 46,000 and Rs 41,000 respectively.

Specifications

The Skoda Kylaq is available in a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine only. The SUV is powered by a three-cylinder 1.0 TSI engine that is offered by the Volkswagen Group. The engine produces 115hp of maximum power and 178Nm of peak torque. There is an option for 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. In terms of acceleration, the car can go from 0-100 kmph in 10.5 seconds.

In terms of safety the new SUV is equipped with features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child seat mounts and much more. Cabin features include two-spoke steering, climate control panel, keyless entry, wireless phone charger, 8-inch digital instrument cluster, 10-inch touchscreen, Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay support wireless, single pane sunroof and much more.
