Skoda Kushaq Facelift launch schedule revealed

Business Business : Skoda is planning to significantly modernise its Kushaq SUV soon. Since its launch three years ago, it has been known for its modern design, strong performance and advanced features. Just tell us what’s new.

What’s new in Skoda Kushaq facelift?

The redesigned SUV gets a new look that includes connected LED headlights and a cool olive green colour option. It is expected to become more attractive with improved safety equipment and interior design. Despite these changes, it still offers the same reliable engines.

However, exact details about the interior updates are not yet available. Expect new elements and interior furnishings as well as updated colours. Approved improvements may include the addition of the Aedas suite. The Kushaq already has a digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats and six airbags. While it is not yet confirmed whether the panoramic sunroof will be part of the facelift of the popular SUV, the Qashqai facelift will feature new headlights and taillights, a design trend that is becoming increasingly popular in the automotive sector. This could result in a significant change in the design of the headlights, with the headlights likely to be connected to the grille and also likely to be larger. Connected taillights at the rear could look similar to the new Kodiaq.

The exterior colour Olive Green is also available as a facelift option. Other updates could include redesigned front and rear bumpers and new aluminium wheels. We do not expect any major differences between the 1.0 and 1.5 litre versions as there is currently no way to differentiate them visually.

The Koshak facelift retains the mechanical settings of the model. These include a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI engine with 115 hp and 178 Nm and a 1.5-litre TSI four-cylinder engine with 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard. The 1.0-litre TSI engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the 1.5-litre TSI engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission.
