Skoda introduced this powerful SUV

Business Business: Recently, Skoda’s Kaylaq, a compact SUV with an overall length of less than 4 meters, was spotted ahead of its official launch. The shooting took place in Panchgani, Mahabaleshwar, where Bollywood director Rohit Shetty was shooting a television commercial (TVC) for a new model. According to a report by Rashline, Rohit Shetty is directing an action-packed TVC that will showcase the powerful charm of the Kaylaq. While driving, the car emerges from a dense forest, arousing curiosity to take a closer look at this new compact SUV from Skoda.

The official launch of the Skoda Karoq is scheduled for November 6, 2024. Packed with many amazing features, this sub-4 meter long SUV is enjoying explosive popularity in its segment. This launch is the first model under Skoda’s India 2.5 program. Kushaq uses a different design compared to other models such as Kushaq, Slavia and Kodiaq, with most of its styling adopted from the Elroc electric SUV.

The Skoda Karaq is assigned to the Kushaq in the Skoda series. It is based on the MQB AO IN platform manufactured by the Volkswagen Group, which also underpins the Kushaq and Slavia. However, the Kylaq platform has been updated to allow for a shorter wheelbase. This new Kylaq Kushaq features several design elements.

It features Skoda’s signature grille, LED headlights with split daytime running lights, a large front spoiler, a redesigned bumper, and similar taillights. The Kylaq runs on 17-inch aluminum wheels. This enhances its sporty appeal. It will also have a sunroof.

However, many interior details are still not revealed. The Kylaq is expected to offer a variety of comfort and safety features for the driver and passengers. It will likely have a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone connectivity, and ventilated seats.

The Skoda Shiraq is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 114bhp and 178Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission.
