Sitarganj: Brother-in-law raped sister-in-law, in-laws threatened to kill her
Sitarganj: Day by day, disgusting incidents are increasing in the society. Sometimes a grandfather is found doing wrong things with his granddaughter and sometimes the husband himself puts his wife at stake.
Women and children are not safe even in their homes, let alone outside… the situation has become such that now there is no trust in any relationship. In Shaktifarm area of Sitarganj, a married woman has accused her husband of feeding her intoxicants and her own brother-in-law of having physical relations with her. The married woman has demanded strict action from the police by submitting a complaint against the BJP leader and her in-laws.
The married woman, a resident of Shaktifarm, told that she used to teach in a school of the BJP leader. The BJP leader got her married to his nephew from UP three months ago. She alleged that on the wedding night, her husband mixed intoxicants in the cake and fed her. When she woke up in the morning, she suspected that he might have sex with her. The married woman said that everyday her husband used to mix intoxicants in some sweet thing and feed her. Due to which she used to fall asleep.
She said that on the night of 12th June, on getting suspicious, she did not eat the sweets given to her and pretended to be asleep. At around 1 o’clock in the night, her husband went out of the room and her brother-in-law came in the room. When her brother-in-law started teasing her, she woke up and started shouting. Then her brother-in-law gagged her mouth and told her that he had sex with her every night.
When she came out somehow and informed her in-laws about this, her in-laws threatened her to keep her mouth shut and kill her. The married woman told her family about the incidents that happened with her on 23rd June. After this, her family brought her to her maternal home. She alleged that the BJP leader and her in-laws are constantly pressurizing her. The married woman has filed a complaint with the Kotwali police against her in-laws, including the BJP leader, and has demanded action. In this regard, Kotwal Bhupendra Singh Brijwal said that the married woman has lodged a complaint in the Kotwali. Investigation is being done on the basis of the complaint.
