The bench, while ordering the matter to be heard again on Wednesday, asked the Deputy Solicitor General to take instructions from the Central Government and the Censor Board as to what action they can take in the matter. The bench, after hearing the arguments of advocate Ranjana Agnihotri, appearing for the petitioner, made the oral observation that the way the film has been made, “it will not only hurt the sentiments of those who worship Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lord Hanuman Adi is worshipped, but the manner in which the characters of Ramayana have been portrayed can also create disharmony in the society.

In the petition of Kuldeep Tiwari, citing all the objectionable scenes and dialogues of the film, it has been requested to ban its exhibition, while Naveen Dhawan has requested to ban the exhibition as well as cancel the certificate issued by the censor board to the film. requested to leave. During the debate, the advocates of the petitioners argued that the provisions of the Cinematography Act-1952 and the guidelines made under the said law were not followed by the Censor Board.
