Sirmaur police team made it to the semi-finals
Nahan. The first Maharaja Rajendra Prakash Memorial Football League competition started on Monday in Nahan, the headquarters of Sirmaur district. There was tremendous competition among the players on the first day of the competition. The competition was inaugurated by BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal. On this occasion, Lakshraj, the grandson of Maharani Padmini Devi of Jaipur, daughter of the last ruler of Sirmaur state, Maharaja Rajendra Prakash, and son of Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, declared Maharaja of Sirmaur state, were especially present with the Jaipur team.
The competition was inaugurated by the chief guest, Lakshya Raj Prakash, heir and head of Sirmaur estate. Laksh Raj himself also participated in the competition as a player. In the match played in the afternoon, Lakshya Raj Prakash played against the team of Sirmaur Police. The important thing is that the Sirmaur Police team has made it to the semi-finals.
Three matches were played on the first day of the tournament. In the first match, Khalsa Tiger and Sainwala FC faced each other. In this, Khalsa Tiger won the match by a huge margin of 9.0. The second match was played between Sirmaur Police and RFC. Lakshyaraj Prakash, head of Sirmaur state, played for the Sirmaur police team. The score remained 0.0 between the teams till 90 minutes of play. The match was decided in a penalty shootout. Also made it to the semi-finals. The third match was played between Nahan United FC and Jhediwala FC.
On the other hand, the organizing committee said that the semi-final matches of the competition will be played on Tuesday. In this, the first semi-final will be played between Khalsa Tigers-Nahan United FC. The second match is to be played between Sirmaur Police and Paonta Sahib Football Club. During the competition, Lakshya Raj Prakash’s father Maharaj Narendra Singh has also specially reached Nahan. On this occasion, former Nahan MLA Kamal Raja Bahadur Singh, former vice president of Metropolitan Council and councilor Yogesh Gupta were present.
