Singer Asima Panda asked to stop performance by Police at Bali Yatra

Cuttack: Amidst the Bali Yatra celebrations, an unpleasant happening has come to the fore as Odia singer Asima Panda was asked to stop her performance on stage by the Commissionerate Police reportedly after the 10 PM deadline ended on the second day of Bali Yatra.

Singer Asima Panda was performing on the Baishnab Pani stage when she was asked to get down from the stage sending waves of resentment among the people.

Despite requests by Additional District Magistrate police refused to allow the show to go on beyond the 10PM deadline. Adhering to the guidelines to maintain law and order situation the police stopped the performance driving resentment from the people.
