Shriya Saran’s 5-year-old daughter got upset upon seeing the cameras

Mumbai: Actress Shriya Saran was recently spotted at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai. It is reported that she visited the temple to express gratitude following the release of her latest film, ‘Awarapan 2’.
Later, she was seen leaving the temple premises with her family and daughter, interacting with the paparazzi waiting outside.
However, Shriya’s young daughter became visibly uncomfortable upon suddenly seeing the paparazzi and immediately hid behind her mother.
She refused to have her picture taken and was heard saying, “I don’t like this.” Sensing her daughter’s distress, Shriya calmly told her, “It’s okay, you just stand behind Mamma.”
Shriya then posed for the paparazzi with her family, while her daughter remained hidden behind her. The little girl was also heard shouting at the paparazzi and expressing her displeasure.
A few weeks ago, a similar emotional moment involving the child was witnessed while she was accompanying her mother to an event. While posing for the paparazzi with Shriya, the lollipop she was enjoying accidentally slipped from her hand. When it fell to the ground and she could no longer eat it, she began to cry and scream loudly; Shriya then picked her up and soothed her.
Shriya has always been a devoted mother, a fact she highlighted while speaking to IANS. She explained how she balances her professional commitments with being present for her daughter on special occasions.
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, Shriya shared that she once returned home on an early morning flight to attend her daughter’s sports day, arriving straight from a shoot while still in her character’s look. Sharing her experience with IANS, Shriya said, “After becoming a mother, you start doing all sorts of unusual things—like taking a midnight flight just to get back home by morning, or rushing away from a shoot because you have a two-hour break and want to attend your child’s sports day.”
She added, “I actually arrived at my child’s sports day straight from the shoot, still in my character’s look, and people were asking why I looked so serious. But what could I say? I had come directly from the set. You just want to make the most of whatever little time you get to spend with your child and family.”
