Shops were vandalized due to mutual rivalry, 9 miscreants arrested

In Gaurela, due to mutual rivalry over land related dispute, the bullies threw out the goods kept in 3 shops. The accused also vandalized the shop extensively. The incident took place late on Friday night. The matter is of Gaurela police station area.

Police said that most of the accused belong to the same family. There is a paan shop, dosa center and juice shop on the main road leading to the railway station. 9 people reached here last night and tried to spread panic. The accused vandalized the paan shop, dosa center and juice shop and threw the goods outside.

Shop operators have suffered huge losses in the incident. On his complaint, Gaurela police has registered a criminal case against 9 people and has started further action. In two separate FIRs, he has also been accused of taking away Rs 1 lakh 8 thousand in cash from shops.
