Shocking! 3 members of a family rescued from closed home in critical condition in Cuttack

Cuttack: In a shocking incident, three members of a family were rescued from a house in Cuttack CDA area on Friday. They had allegedly tried to kill themselves by consuming poison. The trio consisted of a man, his wife and their son.

The incident has been reported from CDA area under Markat Nagar police station jurisdiction in Cuttack city. The three have been rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. It is believed that the family attempted to kill themselves as they did not have money to pay the house rent. They had allegedly talked to the the house owner in this regard yesterday and had said thet5 they would like to vacate the house.

The house owner told the police that they were allegedly unable to pay the rent since almost two to three months and had also threatened that they would end their life. The house owner had also informed the police in this regard two months back. The police and the scientific team have reached the spot and are investigating into the incident.
