Shock in the market on the last trading day of the year

Business Business: The stock market closed with another decline today. Sensex and Nifty fell on the last trading day of the year. The 30-point Sensex today closed at 109.12 points

On the last trading day of this year, Kotak Bank shares rose 2 per cent in the Sensex market. Tech Mahindra shares fell 2.73% today.

Despite all the ups and downs, Sensex and Nifty managed to give positive returns in the stock market in 2024. This year the stock market was successful in giving a return of about 9%.

The stock market is improving. The Sensex is now down just 77 points at 78,170. At times, more than 600 units fell. Nifty rose 4 points to 23,649. The rapid decline in the stock market continues. The Sensex fell 666 points to 77,582. Nifty also fell 173 points to 23,471. Among the top Nifty losers, Infosys fell 3% to Rs 1,848.75. Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro and HCL also gained more than 2%.
