Shloka and Diya delved deep into Manish Malhotra’s archives to recreate Kareena Kapoor’s famous outfit and created a custom lehenga for the eldest daughter-in-law of the Ambani family. Diya shared pictures of Shloka’s stunning look on Instagram and it went viral on the internet. Shloka’s custom-made peach lehenga set featured a cropped blouse with a beaded one-shoulder neckline, backless style, detailed resham and sequin embroidery, and butterfly embellished tassels at the hem.

Meanwhile, OG Kareena Kapoor Khan also reacted. She wrote on Instagram Stories, “Bole Chudiyan (rainbow and pink heart emojis). @shloka11 you look beautiful.” Kareena was unable to attend the sangeet ceremony as she is on a foreign trip with her husband Saif Ali Khan and children Taimur and Jehangir. The highlight of the sangeet was a performance by pop star Justin Bieber. The singer, whose triumphant return to the stage at an intimate concert at Toronto’s Drake Club earlier this year created quite a stir, performed his popular songs like Baby, Never Let You Go, Love Yourself, Peaches, Boyfriend, Sorry and Where Are You Now Let’s move on to the music. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will tie the knot on July 12, but their pre-wedding festivities have been in full swing since March. The Ambani family is set to host a grand sangeet ceremony for the couple at the iconic Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) on Friday. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani on Wednesday kicked off the wedding festivities of their son Anant Ambani and his fiancee Radhika Merchant with a Mameru ceremony at their residence Antilia in Mumbai. The couple’s grand wedding will take place on July 13 at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The first event is the Shubh Vivaah or wedding ceremony with traditional Indian dress code. The Shubh Ashirwad ceremony will take place on July 13.
