Shivika, Akshay to recreate ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’
Mumbai (IANS) | Ashe Mishra and Shivika Pathak playing the roles of Satwik Bhosle and Jeevika Rane in the show ‘Agnisakshiya Ek Samjhauta’ recreated the characters of Nisha and Prem played by Bollywood stars Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan in the 1994 film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’. It is recreated. During the birthday special episode of the show, Aashi and Shivika danced to ‘Didi Tera Deewana’ dressed as iconic characters from the film.
Shivika said, “Playing Nisha in Hum Aapke Hain Koun is a dream come true for me, and I feel privileged to be back in an era that is very dear to my heart. I am sure the coming episodes will be packed with great filmy flavour. It will thoroughly entertain the audience.
On the other hand, the ‘Shubh Labh’ actor said that shooting for this special episode has been a great experience for him. From learning the dance steps to perfecting my 90s look, I am thoroughly enjoying the preparation. I re-watched Hum Aapke Hain Koun to make sure I learned the mannerisms and style of my character.
The story revolves around Satvik and Jeevika and what happens when the boy divorces the girl soon after marriage. They both are on the verge of divorce and then Satwik realizes his love for Jeevika and decides to surprise her with a birthday party which is themed to the 90s Bollywood era.
Agnisakshi Ek Samjhauta airs on Colors.
