Shimla: Meteorological Department predicted rain till August 29

Shimla: The local meteorological department has predicted mild flooding in parts of Shimla and Sirmaur districts till Saturday and has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain, thundershowers and lightning at isolated places in the state on August 27 and 28. It has also predicted rain in the state till August 29.

Meanwhile, light rain has been observed in parts of the state since Thursday evening. Dharamsala recorded 21 mm of rain, while Baijnath received 10 mm, Jogindernagar 9 mm, Manali 8 mm, Dalhousie 6 mm and Gohar and Mandi recorded 5 mm of rain.
