Shimla CEO: Exit polls will be banned on July 10

Shimla: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Manish Garg today said that the Election Commission of India (EC) has announced a complete ban on all types of exit polls on polling day on July 10. He said that the ban on exit polls will be in force from 7 am to 6.30 pm on July 10. There will also be a ban on display of opinion poll results in electronic media 48 hours before the end of polling, he said.
