Shashank Chopra will remain in EOW remand for 7 days

Raipur. In the Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Limited (CGMSC) scam case, the ACB and EOW team arrested Mokshit Corporation’s director Shashank Chopra and presented him in the special court. The EOW team has got a 7-day remand.

On Monday, the EOW team raided Mokshit Corporation in Raipur and Durg districts. Apart from this, about 8 teams raided Panchkula in Haryana. And documents were seized by raiding the houses and offices of Shashank’s brother and his relatives. Mokshit Corporation is an agency of medicines and medical equipment. This agency supplies medicines and equipment to CGMSC.

In the reagent scam of more than Rs 350 crore, EOW-ACB seized a large amount of documents from 16 locations including the bungalow, factory and partners of supplier Mokshit Corporation’s MD Shashank Gupta during the raid. The EOW team also visited the houses of the MD’s relatives and friends along with the office of Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation (CGMSC) to investigate.
