Sharad Pawar said on the arrest of CM Kejriwal, ‘AAP’ will benefit from this
Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar condemned the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and said that the Aam Aadmi Party will win the Lok Sabha elections. Speaking to the media on Friday, Sharad Pawar said that you are seeing how central investigative agencies are being used against opposition parties and their leaders. He criticized the arrest of CM Kejriwal. He pointed out that when CM Kejriwal was harassed in a similar manner, he had clean sweeped the Delhi Assembly elections on two occasions (2015 and 2020). Pawar senior predicted that this time too AAP will get sympathy votes in the elections. Responding to a question, 83-year-old Pawar clearly said that he will not contest the parliamentary elections. On the question of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) joining hands with the NDA, Pawar said it would not make much difference.
