Shah Rukh Khan will lend his voice to “The Lion King” show on the Disney Adventure Cruise.
Entertainment: Disney Adventure is all set for a spectacular debut, with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan lending his iconic voice to the grand fireworks show “The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky” during the cruise’s maiden voyage from Singapore on March 10. According to an official announcement from Disney Cruise Line, Shah Rukh Khan will be the narrator for the show on Disney Adventure, the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet. With his signature storytelling style, Khan will take guests on an emotional and magical journey inspired by one of Disney’s most beloved classics. Expressing his excitement, Shah Rukh Khan said that The Lion King holds a very special place in his heart. Having previously voiced Mufasa in the Hindi versions of The Lion King (2019) and Mufasa (2024), he described this opportunity as a “full-circle moment” and a true passion project. He added that Celebration in the Sky beautifully showcases themes of courage, hope, family, and community – values that perfectly align with the magical experience awaiting guests on Disney Adventure. Based on the timeless Disney classic, “The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky” will bring families and friends together on the ship’s open deck to experience a breathtaking visual spectacle. The show will combine dazzling fireworks, dramatic lighting, and iconic music to create a memorable experience. Audiences can enjoy favorite songs such as Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata, He Lives in You, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight? The musical score has been specially arranged and recorded by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, featuring the powerful harmonies of the Ndlovu Youth Choir from South Africa, adding a global and heartwarming touch to the production.
