Seven IEDs recovered from Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: Security forces recovered seven IEDs in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. This averted a major tragedy.

“A team of Rashtriya Rifles and local police recovered an IED and a wireless set from Dara Sangla area of Surankote tehsil of the district during a search operation,” police said.

Police said security forces have safely removed all the IEDs from the area. The IEDs were found near a temple.

The timely recovery of these explosive devices averted a major tragedy as the temple was crowded with local people.
