Seven IAS officers transferred in Jharkhand

Ranchi: Jharkhand government has transferred seven IAS officers. There have also been changes in the responsibilities of many officers. Srinivasan (Additional charge- Resident Commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan, New Delhi), Director of the State’s Sri Krishna Institute of Public Administration, has been transferred and appointed to the post of Secretary, Rural Development Department. Srinivasan will also hold the additional charge of Director of Sri Krishna Institute of Public Administration. Secretary, Rural Development Department, Chandrashekhar (Additional Charge-Secretary, Rural Affairs Department) has been made Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. He will also hold additional charge of JUDCO and Greater Ranchi Development Agency. Divisional Commissioner in-charge of South Chhotanagpur Division, Bal Kishun Munda (Additional charge- In-charge Divisional Commissioner, Palamu Division) has been transferred and sent as In-charge Divisional Commissioner, Palamu Division, Medininagar.
Anjani Kumar Mishra, Special Secretary, Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms Department, has been posted as In-charge Divisional Commissioner (South Chhotanagpur Division, Ranchi). Sunil Kumar, Additional Secretary in the Higher and Technical Education Department, has been given the additional charge of Excise Commissioner. Faiz Ahmed Mumtaz, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed to the post of Director of Horticulture. Mumtaz will also hold the additional charge of Managing Director of Jharkhand State Agricultural Marketing Board.
Varun Ranjan, Managing Director of Jharkhand Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, will hold the additional charge of Mines Commissioner along with his duties. Himanshu Mohan, who was waiting for posting, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer in the Chief Minister Small and Cottage Enterprises Development Board. Mohan will also be in additional charge of Joint Secretary, Mines and Geology Department and Chief Executive Officer, Tejaswini Project. The official information about transfer of officers has been released by the Public Relations Department of Jharkhand Government on Tuesday.
