Services at Anganwadi centers should be transparent: MLA Koonamneni

MLA Kunamnneni Sambasiva Rao said that the online process in Anganwadi centers should be transparent. On Monday, he distributed mobile phones to Anganwadi teachers as part of the Poshan Abhiyan program at Lakshmi Devipalli Market Yard in the district center. He said that every Anganwadi teacher should definitely provide services online in the respective centers and inform the higher authorities. He said that the government has taken up this online process to provide food to children and ration goods to mothers in Anganwadi centers properly. He said that the government itself has given smart phones to teachers because some apps have been implemented and that since there is net facility in every area, information should be uploaded online from time to time.

He said that any problems should be brought to his attention and he would solve them. He instructed the CDPOs to take steps to resolve the issues that have not been resolved in remote villages due to space issues and ensure that all Anganwadi centers have proper buildings. On this occasion, mobile phones were handed over to Anganwadi teachers under the Kothagudem project in Lakshmi Devipalli sector.
