Sensation spread due to murder of son-in-law in in-laws’ house, cow also killed, police also surprised

Chhata police said, Rajendra, a resident of village Tarauli Janubi, had two sons Virendra and Laxman, who were married to sisters Kamlesh and Gudiya, residents of village Babarod, Achhnera (Agra), about 10 years ago. There was a dispute between Virendra and his wife Kamlesh on Wednesday. Kamlesh and Gudiya called their maternal relatives. The maternal relatives who reached at around 12 o’clock in the night, killed Virendra by hitting him with an axe.

On hearing the noise of the attack by the in-laws in village Tarauli Janubi, people from the vicinity started reaching there. Seeing people coming, the attackers fled with their car and bike. During this, the speeding Bolero car hit a cow coming in the way. Due to this, the cow died.

In the village of Tarauli Janubi of Chhata, there was a stir due to the brutal murder of the son-in-law at midnight. Police said that on the call of wife Kamlesh in the dispute between husband and wife, her brother Bhudev, Prabhu, father Balo, Mahesh residents of Babarod, Achhnera (Agra) besides four unknown people resident of Barauli, Chhata came to the house. It is alleged that they attacked Virendra with an axe, sticks and rods. Virendra’s father Rajendra said that he and his nephew were sleeping nearby. When he tried to save his son, the attackers beat him with sticks and injured him too.

When the neighbors woke up and came out, the attackers fled towards Barauli on Bolero and two bikes. During this, the villagers who came admitted the injured to KD Medical Akbarpur. Son Virendra was taken to the city hospital where he was declared dead. Police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. Police have registered a report and started investigating the case. Police have taken both the sisters into custody. Police station in-charge inspector Chhata Sanjay Tyagi said that police teams have been deployed to search for the accused.
