Rajim: There has been a stir after the dead body of a soldier posted in Jagdalpur Nagar Army was found in a field in Gobra Basti area of Navapara area. According to the information, on Monday, ward no. of Navapara city. There was a sensation in the area when a dead body of a young man was found in a field between Gobra Basti and Kholi Para in 1991. On receiving information about the incident, Gobra Navapara police reached the spot. Police took Panchnama of the dead body and sent it to Raipur Mekahara for PM.
Navapara police station in-charge Ashish Singh Rajput said that the deceased has been identified as Mahesh Singh Thakur (36). However, the family members were informed for identification. He told that the deceased had come from Jagdalpur to perform duty at Rajim fair. The dead body was found on March 4. The corpse may be 2 days old. The cause of death and other information will be revealed only after the PM report comes.
It is being told that the deceased was seen in the fair premises on 29th February, but suddenly he started disappearing in attendance. The dead body was found in the field on March 4. At present the police has started investigating the matter. Further action will be taken after the PM report comes.
