Senior OAS officer Alok Pradhan appointed Joint Secretary of Odisha CM Mohan Majhi

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has appointed senior OAS officer Alok Kumar Pradhan as the Joint Secretary of Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, informed the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department.

As per the Department’s latest notification, Alok Kumar Pradhan who is currently serving as the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Keonjhar has been posted as the new Joint Secretary of Odisha CM.

Likewise, anther OAS officer Padma Charan Sahoo also has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary of Sports & Youth Services Department. Earlier, he was transferred as Khurda Sub-Collector. His posting as Sub-Collector, Khurda, while serving as Nayagarh BDO stands cancelled, said the notification.

Similarly, Anandpur Additional Sub-Collector Kishore Kumar Panda will take charge as Khurda Sub-Collector. He has also been designated as Deputy Administrator (Revenue) of Puri Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).

The State government had earlier in June, 2024 had posted OAS officer Trilochan Mohanty as the Joint Secretary and OAS officer Chitrasen Rout as the Additional Secretary of the Odisha Chief Minister.

Another notification of the department revealed that the State government transferred and gave new appointments to a total of 30 officers including 11 OAS, 17 ORS and 2 OMAS officers.
