Senior IPS officer Arun Kumar Sarangi appointed as DGP in-charge of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Senior IPS officer Arun Kumar Sarangi has been appointed as DGP in-charge of Odisha, reports said on Saturday. Arun Kumar Sarangi, IPS (RR-1990) is currently Special D.G. The Director of Police, Training and BPSPA has been allowed to hold additional charge of the Director General. Till the induction of a regular DGP in Police, Odisha. Sarangi is a 1990 batch IPS officer of Odisha cadre.

Let us tell you here that till the appointment of regular DGP, he will remain on the post of in-charge DGP. Retirement of DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal is going to happen on 31st December 2023 i.e. tomorrow.
