Selection of 237 schools in the second phase of PM Vidyalaya Yojana

Jaipur : Commissioner, Rajasthan School Education Council, Mr. Avichal Chaturvedi said that 237 PMShree schools of the state have been selected in the second phase of PMShree Vidyalaya Yojana.
Shri Chaturvedi said that 402 schools of the state were selected in the first phase of the centrally promoted PMShri Vidyalaya Yojana. So far, a total of 639 schools in the state have been selected under the scheme.
In the second phase of the scheme, Ajmer district 10, Alwar 12, Banswara 7, Bandra 6, Barmer 8, Bharatpur 7, Bhilwara 10, Bikaner 7, Bundi 7, Chittorgarh 4, Churu 9, Dausa 6, Dholpur 6, Dungarpur 4, Hanumangarh 7. , Jaipur 7, Jaisalmer 3, Jalore 8, Jhalawar 4, Jhunjhunu 9, Jodhpur 5, Karauli 5, Kota 5, Nagaur 12, Pali 12, Pratapgarh 5, Rajsamand 8, Sawai Madhopur 3, Sikar 14, Sirohi 4, Sriganganagar 7, Tonk. 8, Udaipur 8 schools have been selected.
He said that the objective of PMShri Vidyalaya Yojana is to completely transform schools by ensuring access to quality, equitable and inclusive education at all levels as per the recommendations of the National Education Policy.
Child friendly furniture, learning enrichment program, 21st century skills, National Invention Campaign, exposure visit, digital library, adolescence program for girls, internship under vocational education, guidance and career counseling, green school activities, community activities from the budget received under PMShri Vidyalaya Yojana. The works of mobility, capacity building of institution heads and teachers, yoga teachers, sports grounds, sports equipment, health camps and basic structural strengthening will be carried out.
