Seeing his friend’s wife, his intentions got spoiled, he committed gangrape

Bilaspur. A case of gang rape of a woman from Durg has come to light in Bilaspur. The accused youth called his friend and his wife to meet him. Here he was given food at his home. Meanwhile, the young man mixed intoxicants and made both of them unconscious. Then, along with his other friend, he raped the woman. Three months after the incident, the victim woman complained about the matter, on which the police registered a case against two youths. The matter is of Sarkanda police station area.

A 28-year-old woman living in Durg district told the police that her husband was identified as Sunil, a resident of Bandhwapara in Sarkanda area of Bilaspur. Then a good friendship developed between the two. Sunil called him to Bilaspur last January to meet him. On this, the woman’s husband took her and the child to Bilaspur on 28 January. During this time, Sunil took them to his home, where he had dinner at his home in the night. The woman told that Sunil had mixed some intoxicant in her food, due to which the woman and her husband fell asleep unconscious. Taking advantage of this, Sunil called another friend of his and took the woman to another room and raped her together. The woman told the police that she was in a state of disarray, so she could not protest against their actions.

The woman told the police that when she regained consciousness, she became aware of the wrongdoings of her husband’s friend. But, fearing disgrace, she remained silent and went back to the fort with her husband and child. Later the woman informed her husband about this incident. Then after three months she reached Sarkanda police station with a complaint. On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case against both the youths. Police is investigating this matter.
