Security in Puri goes for a toss again as drone spotted on no-flying zone hours after man caught with hidden camera

Puri: Security in Puri City went for a toss again as a drone was spotted on the no-flying zone of the pilgrim city this evening hours after a man was caught with hidden camera inside the Srimandir.
Two different videos, captured by some unknown person, purportedly showed the suspicious drone flying on the stretch between the Market Chhaka area and the Lord Jagannath Temple and again from the temple to the Dolamandap Sahi of the city. However, it neither hovered over the 12th century shrine nor entered the premises of the temple.
Though it is not known who, why and under what circumstances used the drone in the restricted area, it is suspected that some persons might have operated the suspicious drone from the Market Chhaka.
Meanwhile, the uncountable devotees of Lord Jagannath along with the local residents of Puri expressed serious concerned over the security breach as it occurred just some hours after a man was found shooting the interiors of the Srimandir with a hidden camera. They also urged the police to trace and seize the drone and arrest the persons involved in the illegal activity.
Meanwhile, police is said to have started an investigation into the matter.
It is to be noted here a man identified as Arup Raya was caught by the Jagannath Temple Police (JTP) team from near the Ghanti Dwara of the temple while he was capturing footages from the restricted areas with the help of a hidden camera that he had fixed with his spectacles. Later, he was handed over to the Singhadwara police for interrogation.
