Security forces destroyed Naxal camp

Sukma. Today, after seeing the police in the hill between Danteshpuram and Korajguda, the Naxalites ran away into the dense forests nearby. While searching on the spot, the soldiers recovered a huge quantity of weapons/explosive material dumped by Naxalites, which included two BGLs, one 12 bolt gun, 1 loaded BGL and 16 cells. According to the release issued by the police, on the information about the presence of Naxalites, a special Naxal operation was conducted by the DRG and Bastar Fighters team under the police station of district Sukma.

During the search, seeing the police activity in the hills between Danteshpuram and Korajguda, the Naxalites fled into the nearby dense forests. On searching the surrounding areas on the spot, barrel grenade launcher (BGL) 2 nos., 12 bolt gun 1, Bharmar 1, BGL cell 16, BGL cordridge 24, BGL pittu bag 3, magazine pouch 01, 1 bundle of red cloth and Other Naxalite daily useful items were recovered. After the operation, DRG and Bastar Fighters team returned to the camp safely.
