Scorpio caught fire, driver saved his life by jumping out

Ghaziabad: A massive fire broke out in a Scorpio near Lal Kuan bridge in Ghaziabad on Sunday morning. The driver saved his life by jumping out of the car. The fire engulfed the entire vehicle within a few minutes. The fire was informed to the fire brigade. The fire brigade team reached the spot and brought the fire under control. There was no loss of life in the incident.


According to the information received from the fire department officials, on Sunday, at around 10.48 am, information was given at the Kotwali fire station of Ghaziabad district that a vehicle was on fire near Lal Kuan bridge. On information, a fire tanker was sent to the spot.

After reaching the spot, the officers saw that a Scorpio vehicle was on fire due to short circuit on the roadside. The fire unit immediately started extinguishing the fire and brought it under control within a short time. The vehicle was being driven by Prince Rana, resident of A-15 Panchsheel Colony, Chipiyana Elder, Lal Kuan, Gautam Buddha Nagar. Initial investigation has revealed that the vehicle caught fire due to short circuit.
