Scissor attack in DD Nagar, victim admitted to Raipur AIIMS

Raipur. A man fishing on the banks of the Kharun River in Diprapara, under the DD Nagar police station area, was attacked with scissors. The accused demanded ₹1,000 from him. The incident occurred in front of his nephew. The man was seriously injured in the attack and was immediately admitted to AIIMS by his family.

According to information, Rajkaran Yadav, a resident of Indraprastha Diprapara, stated that he was fishing in the Kharun River near the Diprapara brick kiln at around 5 p.m. on November 10th. His maternal uncle, Devendra Yadav, was also present, along with the accused, Deepak Sahu. During this incident, Deepak Sahu immediately demanded ₹1,000 from Devendra Yadav.

When he refused to pay, Deepak Sahu began abusing him, and as the argument escalated, he stabbed Devendra Yadav in the stomach with scissors, threatening to kill him. The accused fled the scene after the incident. The family took the injured Devendra Yadav to AIIMS for treatment, where he is currently undergoing treatment. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s family and started investigation.
