School Education Secretary took children’s class, also tasted the midday meal
Raipur. Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, the new Secretary of the School Education Department, conducted a surprise inspection of the schools of Raipur on Saturday. The foreigner also visited Nalanda campus and visited the district library. Becoming a teacher, he also took classes of students. School Education Secretary visited the Martyr Memorial School. He took information regarding the running of the school from Aditya Chandak, Principal of Swami Atmanand English Medium School. Pardesi asked elementary, middle and high school children how they feel about coming to school, what they are learning and what they want to be when they grow up. He also asked problems from teachers and principal.
While observing the school, Pardeshi went to a class and taught the children, while posing as a student, he also observed the teachers conducting their class. He also visited the laboratory, library, sports complex, school complex, auditorium etc. The School Education Secretary directed to pay special attention to cleanliness and drinking water in the school. He also gave instructions for regular cleaning of the water tank to provide pure drinking water to the students. Said to put a chart near each water filter for the date of servicing of water filter. Pardeshi also inquired about the menu being given to the students in the mid-day meal. Also tasted all the dishes prepared in the midday meal. While visiting the library, he said that it should be kept in mind that the book should be according to the interest of the children.
School Education Secretary interacted with the players in the sports complex of the huge courtyard of Mayaram Surjan Excellent Girls School, Chaubey Colony. On the problem pointed out by the sports in-charge, he asked to give instructions to the PWD department official. Instructed the concerned officer to renovate the garden in the school premises itself. Pardesi received information from the officials about the progress of the work done so far in the National Education Policy. Observed the models made by the children in the science lab of JN Pandey School and took information from the children in this regard. School Principal M.R. Sawant said that the children here are continuously getting merit. Before this, he also visited the Nalanda campus and the district library. On this occasion, Joint Director of Raipur Division Dr. Yogesh Shivhare, District Education Officer Himanshu Bharatiya, Assistant Director of State Literacy Mission Prashant Pandey, District Officer of Holistic Education K.S.
