Sarpanch sacked, SDM took action in case of fake withdrawal of money

Ambikapur. Ramnagar Sarpanch Jawahar Singh of Janpad Panchayat Surajpur has been sacked by SDM Surajpur on Friday for being found guilty in a fake withdrawal case of Rs 13 lakh 99 thousand in the amount of 14th Finance.

The former SDM was removed from the post after the crime was registered against Sarpanch Jawahar Singh in Bishrampur police station under other sections, including fraud, after being absconding for a long time due to fear of arrest after dismissal, he was seen in the Chief Minister’s meeting program last year. Just before coming to Ramnagar, the police had arrested him and lodged him in jail, after spending months in jail, Jawahar Singh took charge of the post of Sarpanch as soon as he came out on bail, but now the SDM ordered the removal of Sarpanch Jawahar.
