Sanya Malhotra excited to work with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jawaan’

Sanya Malhotra News: Actress Sanya Malhotra, popularly known as ‘Dangal Girl’ in Bollywood, is spreading her foot in the industry with her hard work and dedication. Sanya Malhotra, who has been garnering accolades for her performance in one film after another, is in limelight these days for her upcoming film ‘Kathal’. But along with this, the film for which the actress is in news is none other than Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action film ‘Jawaan’. Yes, Sanya Malhotra will also be seen playing an important role in ‘Jawan’. Recently, Sanya talked about her role and how she felt sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan.
Sanya Malhotra is very excited for her upcoming film ‘Kathal’ and then Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawaan’. This year Sanya Malhotra has back to back interesting films. These include ‘Sam Bahadur’ with Vicky Kaushal and Hindi remake of Malayalam film ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’. In a recent interview, Sanya discussed what goes through her mind when she chooses films. Along with this, the actress also told how working in ‘Jawan’ was like a dream come true for her. Sanya says that she signed ‘Kathal’ only after listening to the film’s pitch following the love received from the audience for ‘Pagglait’ in the year 2021.
Sanya Malhotra said, ‘It happened right after Pagglait. I got a call from Guneet Monga and she told me that I have a script and it is very interesting. I want you to listen to one line of it. Director Yashovardhan Mishra was still working on the script. Guneet called me and gave me a one-liner. My association with Sikhya, Balaji and Netflix during Pagglait has been so fruitful that I could never say no to Jackfruit. I feel that whenever I do a film, my politics are at the forefront. So, sometimes I look for characters that inspire me and others who watch it.’
Sanya Malhotra also talked about her experience working with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jawaan’. Sanya had completed shooting for ‘Jawaan’ last year. Sharing her excitement about Atlee’s directorial venture with Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and others, Sanya said, “I am happy that I can finally talk about the film.”
Sanya told, ‘I am excited because I can finally talk about it. Earlier every time I was asked whether I was young or not, I used to give some strange answers. I always hoped to work with Shah Rukh Khan one day, so it’s a dream come true. I can’t wait to see myself around him… It’s a dream role, a dream film. Just being around him makes me really happy.’
