Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 important specs leaked ahead of launch, to offer larger display and much more

Samsung will be introducing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 foldable smartphone very soon and it will be successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 model. The device will be offered with Android 16 with latest Samsung One UI out of the box. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC that is offered in the Galaxy S25 series too.

According to tipster Anthony (@TheGalox_) on X, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be offered with 200-megapixel primary camera. This will be a major upgrade when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 which offers 50-megapixel camera. There will also be an upgraded under display camera.

In terms of display, the device will offer an 8-inch inner screen along with 6.5-inch cover display. This is an upgrade when it comes to 7.6-inch inner screen along with 6.3-inch cover display of the Z Fold 6. The device will have durable display along with smaller crease in the inner screen. When the device is unfolded it is 4.5mm thick and this means it is 1.1mm thinner than older model. The dust and water resistance is expected to be improved.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. The device is expected to get upgraded speakers along with new vibration motor.

Samsung Galaxy M56 5G

The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G will be unveiled in India on April 17, mentioned a post by the company on X. The device will be 7.2mm in its profile. However, the weight of the smartphone will remain the same as earlier. The older device weighs 180g and 7.8mm in thickness. The device is expected to launch in Amazon and is claimed to be thinnest in the segment. A promotional poster mentioned that the device will be placed between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000.
