Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will not support 65W wired charging support: leak

South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung is expected to launch its S26 series in January 2026. Multiple leaks of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have mentioned that it will have significant upgrade over the S25 Ultra. The latest leak has mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra might not support 65W fast charging.

GSMArena has mentioned (citing a leak) that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be offering 60W wired charging. This might disappoint some users who expected 65W charging.

However, this is a significant upgrade over the 45W charging that is present in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, there will not be an upgrade over the 5000mAh battery. Some upgrades have mentioned that the device might get 5500 mAh battery but that is highly unlikely. It is expected that Samsung will be looking forward to improve battery backup through processing.

Earlier, a rumour had mentioned that Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with a 1/1.1-inch 200MP Sony CMOS sensor. This sensor might be used for the main camera of the device. This rumoured 1/1.1-inch 200MP sensor will be a huge upgrade over the 1/1.3-inch sensor present in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

This new sensor is likely to improve picture quality of the device, if compared to the current 200MP sensor for Galaxy Ultra device. If the rumour is true, this will be the first time that Samsung will deviate from its in-house 200MP sensor for the Galaxy Ultra smartphones.
