Samsung Galaxy M56 with Exynos processor and 5000mAh battery to launch soon, to get a 7.2mm thickness
Samsung will be introducing its next M series device in India and that will be Galaxy M56. In terms of thin devices, Samsung will also be introducing the Galaxy S25 Edge. The Samsung Galaxy M56 will be the slimmest device in its segment, mentioned the official page of the company.
In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy M56 gets 7.2mm thickness along with 180g weight. The M55 is 7.8mm and 180g while the A56 is 7.4mm and 198g. All the three devices are offered with 6.7” screen.
The 6.74” screen of the M56 smartphone is Super AMOLED+ in nature that is 33% brighter and offers 36% slimmer bezels as compared to M55. It also offers 1080p+ panel that gets a refresh rate of 120Hz. In terms of processor, the Samsung Galaxy M56 is powered by Exynos 1480 that is an older chipset. The chipset offers 4nm chip with AMD RDNA 2 graphics along with Cortex-A78/A55 CPU cores. The vapor chamber is 33% bigger when compared to M55.
When it comes to the camera module, the smartphone offers 50 -megapixel OIS-supported primary sensor (f/1.8), 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera will be a 12-megapixel front camera sensor (f/2.2). The Galaxy AI features offers features like editing photos, removing unwanted objects and much more. Battery capacity of the device is 5000mAh capacity and charging speed is 45W. The device does not offer dust or water resistance rating.
The display offers glass at the front and back. The device offers Gorilla Glass Victus+ with 4x scratch resistance at the front and rear. The device is tested to be 2m fall endurance.
In terms of OS, the Samsung Galaxy M56 will get software support up to the end of 2030. This means that it will get 6 OS updates and 6 years of security patches. In terms of colours, users will have options for Light Green and Black.
The Samsung Galaxy M56 will be available for sale on April 23 and the price starts from Rs 25,000. The device will be available on Amazon India.
