Sadia Khateeb shares memories of the challenging cave shoot

Mumbai: Actress Sadia Khateeb, who wrapped up shooting for her upcoming film “Sila” on Wednesday, shared her fondest memories from the film’s shoot. She co-stars with Harshvardhan Rane.
The actress shared her experience shooting inside the Son Doong Cave without phones or electricity.
Speaking about this, she said, “I have so many fond memories from the shooting days, but I’ll start from when we started shooting this film in the cave and the four days we were in the cave without phones, without electricity, without beds. We were sleeping in tents. We were the first filmmakers, we were the first film to be shot in that cave. That experience was very exciting.”
She further explained, “That cave has its own ecosystem, its own land and sky, really. It’s not just a flat, walkable cave. You have to climb a mountain, and all of us, the entire crew, climbed the mountain, walking about 25 kilometers. It’s a long way, though. Sweat, blood, tears, you name it.”
“We also shot a song in Gulmarg where I was completely dressed and portrayed like a Bollywood heroine, something I had never experienced before. In Shikara and The Diplomat, I was immersed in very different, down-to-earth characters. But in Sila, I got to embrace the classic heroine’s shoes, and that felt very special. I’m really grateful for that experience,” she added.
“Sila” is set to release this year. The actress will also be seen in it alongside Kapil Sharma, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
“Sila,” presented by Zee Studios, is touted to be an intense action romance with layered characters and high-stakes drama. It is produced by Omung Kumar, Umesh K.R. Bansal, Pragati Deshmukh, Himanshu Tiwari, Ajay Singh, Abhishek Ankur and Captain Rahul Bali under the banners of Blue Lotus Pictures, Stark Entertainment and Innovations India. “Sila” is co-produced by Rahat Shah Kazmi.
