Sacked policeman’s hooliganism, 3 people injured
Janjgir-Champa. A case has been registered against the dismissed constable of Mulmula police station Dharmendra Banjare and his associates for assaulting a shopkeeper and his sons in Banahil village of the district. On the other hand, the condition of one of the 3 injured is critical, which has been referred to Bilaspur. At present, the accused have not been arrested. The case is of Mulmula police station area.
According to the information, two relatives of the dismissed constable Dharmendra Banjare of Mulmula police station came with their two children in a blue car. He demanded ice cream from shopkeeper Ramnath Kaivartya (56 years). The shopkeeper gave him 3 ice creams, but he asked for more expensive ice cream. On which the shopkeeper said that they do not have better ice cream than this, on which the customers abused and assaulted him and his son Ashish.
After this, both the men went back to their car with the children. Shortly after this, dismissed constable Dharmendra Banjare came to the shop with 10-12 of his associates and started fighting with Ramnath, his sons Ashish and Neeraj. The accused ransacked the shop. Ashish Kaivartya and Neeraj Kaivartya, both the sons of the shopkeeper, have suffered serious injuries due to the fight. Of these, Neeraj’s condition is more critical, he has been referred to Bilaspur after first aid. Here in Mulmula police station, a case has been registered against the dismissed constable Dharmendra Banjare and his associates under section 294, 506, 323, 34 and the matter is being investigated. He had threatened to kill the station in-charge by pointing a gun at him, after which the superintendent of police had dismissed him from service.
