Rural governance in the hands of highly educated people

With the aim of public service and development of villages, many highly educated people have emerged as Sarpanch candidates in the recent local body elections and won. Those who excelled in their studies have taken up the responsibilities of the first citizens of the Gram Panchayat with the blessings of the people in the political exams. In the third phase of Gram Panchayat elections held in Khammam district on the 17th of this month, the Panchayat governing bodies in many places out of the 41 Gram Panchayats in Singareni (Karepalli) mandal went into the hands of highly educated people. This time, many Sarpanches won for the first time and came forward to lead the Panchayats on the path of development with a sense of nobility. With the aim of doing good for the villages, they took oath as Gram Panchayat Sarpanches (first citizens) on the 23rd of this month.

Ajmira Umarani (B.A. B.Ed), 5. Nanunagar Thanda.. Maloth Vijaya Kumari (B.Ed, D.Ed), 6. Polampalli.. Dharavat Hemalatha (MBA, LLB), 7. Singareni.. Medari Veera Pratap (MBA), 8. Tekulagudem.. Gummadi Sandeep (M.A.B.Ed), 9. Thodidalagudem.. Banoth Priyanka (B.Sc.B.Ed), 10. Usirikayalapalli.. Guguloth Varalakshmi (MSc.B.Ed) Along with these, a few others who had completed their tenth and higher education were elected as Sarpanches.
